Upside down

(another repost of mine)

The ground shifts below our feet. Things sliding past us. We reach out to grab something as it sails by.

Suddenly everything is upside down and yet our feet are still on earth, even though it is above us at times.

What is true, what is not.

Does everything need to be researched and deciphered. Or is there a gentle listening place within. A breath, a vibration. Something healing and beautiful.

Yes what is here now is real and beautiful for some. And horrible and devastating for others. The two sliding by each other grating like a rough sand paper tearing at your skin.

Yes embrace where you are. Notice the beauty. But remember those whose reality is different. Hold them in your heart.

Know you do not know. Know you cannot understand.

There was a train off it's track speeding towards where we stood. The ground shifted, things began to fall as this beast hurled towards us. I saw her up ahead loose the grip of the one she was with. She began to fall to the side, the heavy beast descending.

I ran and flung myself at her, pulling her body beneath mine. Let go I've got you, I said. Let go I've got you.
