My son would not comply with school. He said it wasted his time so when he reached 13 years I said he could drop out if he wanted to.... he jumped at the chance and taught himself from then on. He is now 50 & still studying!!
He is into physics, maths and computer coding.... talks Vogon Poetry (I have no idea what he means but that is OK!) He has many online friends in the States so he keeps American hours.... he lives in his man cave and loves to cook which is great for me!
He has fathered 5 kids and sees none of them. Nuclear family life does not happen for him and at first he struggled emotionally, but now he is used to it. He looks after me really well and lets me get on with my own thing without interference. We have had times apart, like when I swanned off, living in a truck with my 2 dogs and a cat.... I eventually landed up a mountain in Spain where I bought a fruit farm and lived like a hermit for 5 years.
Now he says he is glad he dropped formal education but worries that his kids are being indoctrinated, inoculated and fed b/s all day long. He hopes they will come to find him one day.
