I'm whispering
The air changed and shifted
That familiar feeling of my eyes widening, drying
Was I terrified or shifting in an unfamiliar way
Or both
Or something else
Bubbles coming to the surface, a sudden pop of feeling, grief, such deep sadness
Letting go
The light shifts
This reminds me of breathing with another
Our sense of ourselves expanded, as if our heads were blowing open
Oxygenating our brains
Growing muscular wings and lifting off the ground
Soaring
I put my feet into the earth and reached out to hold him
The air is shifting
Am I cleaving
Am I expanding
I am wondering
The light changes again
There is a softness to the air
I do not need to know
Just be
Just breathe
Listen
Words of others jumble before my eyes, dance around, playing on the page
Something else is asked for
Something different
I'm whispering
