People were and have been shopping local small businesses, supporting local farmers, growing their own. Practicing regenerative farming, food foraging, for many years, lifetimes. Something old coming back, being embraced again.
Where I live there's something called the Maine Assembly, that some folks are working with to find a better structure for governance.
There is an organization called Maine Stands Up, where people have organized farmer’s markets for those who do not want to mask or be shunned by 'vaccine' exclusions. And other gatherings and celebrations so children and families can have community without being part of the 'insanity'.
People are stepping out of and into something more local more sustainable even in this challenging time as well.
I have wondered if this turning away, before this more obvious insanity, was felt. Turning away from pharmaceuticals and Western Medicine. Was why this happened just now. Part of the why.
The curious thing is that many who are into the culture of this, the growing and making and mending, practicing home grown herbal medicine, have also completely swallowed the 'I need to do what's best for everyone' psyop.
And I daily wonder at the immersion into the insanity and how it perpetuates trauma. Which does not mean that I don't believe the pieces need to be exposed. Because I do. And I thank those who have the investigative skills and the fortitude to dig deep.
But I come across beautiful people who deal with deep trauma and pain and don't know how to heal. It seems our systems for healing have destroyed many lives.
What is happening in the world is an intense ‘moment’ of grief. Which, from what I see is compounding previous traumas greatly.
I wonder if we need to learn to feel and hold grief for ourselves and for each other.
This is something that has been missing from our culture for much too long. The culture that I live in.
The knowledge and the deep knowing that feeling is deeply healing. Just a river that needs to flow to be healthy.
I so agree. I want this, too, very much. Local is the KEY, I believe. Centralized banks, centralized govt (to a great degree, but not totally) -- centralized POWER -- need to go.
